XANAEL participated in the official call for technical and scientific posters at EXPOCIDA 2026, the benchmark event for the pest control sector in Spain, held at IFEMA Madrid on 30 and 31 January 2026.
The poster, displayed as Poster No. 8 in Hall 5, presented in detail the preventive urban sanitary infrastructure system developed by XANAEL: a precast concrete curb that integrates an interior technical chamber designed to house pest detection, monitoring and control systems.
The technical proposal outlines the foundations of the patented system: the interception of rodent surface routes, the reduction of exposed chemicals and the permanent integration of the system into the urban road network without altering the aesthetics of public spaces.
The presence at EXPOCIDA represents an important step in the technical presentation of the project to sector professionals, pest control companies, municipal technicians and environmental health officials from across Spain and Europe.
